November’s Top Contributing Writers

That’s right, to close November on Free Verse Revolution, we have two writers to celebrate. This month seems to have flown by and on the theme of desire you have two favourite pieces:

Night Is A Crime In My Mouth by Christine Ray

Desire by Megha Sood

Christine Ray

Christine writes at Brave & Reckless and released her debut poetry collection earlier this year and I cannot wait for her second. I can honestly say, she is a woman and writer intent on leaving a legacy which sings of hope, bravery and strength. She lifts others, often before herself, and has helped unveil the talent of many. However, her talent cannot be ignored. She often talks about finding the strength to share her words much later in her life; she is testament to it never being too late to live bravely and recklessly.

Megha Sood

We are very lucky here at Free Verse Revolution to have had Megha contribute to us since the summer. Megha works incredibly hard and you can see and feel it in every piece she writes. Over the months, her work keeps going from strength to strength and it is an absolute pleasure to provide a platform for her writing; as she blossoms beautifully. We would also like to congratulate her on her new appointment as Contributing Writer/Editor at Ariel Chart.

We Will Not Be Silenced

This anthology, which shares the lived experience of sexual harassment and sexual assault, was released earlier this week. I am sharing it with you because Christine Ray was one of its editors and Megha Sood’s work features in it too, alongside many other phenomenal writers.
