I gave my darkness a name

Gave my darkness a name,
contrasting yours.

Together, a couplet,
twin doublets
that few
can afford.

Apart, these
appendices of
umbrage can’t attain their
true form.

Gave my heartlessness
shape with
pornographic
intent,

and a nudity
was born,

maternal scorn
and its consequence,
yet the infants
found warmth
in warped places,

in a breast
adjacent
to
their
pedigree.

I gave this breed
of arson a title,
a royal
decree,

(usurpers like you
and martyrs like me)

but it was
only broken
reflections,

the ravings of
a mad queen.
